Questions
Recipe scaling FAQ
- How should I paste my recipe?
- One ingredient per line, with a name, amount and unit (for example: flour 200g). Ingredient lists copied from blogs usually work as they are.
- What if the recipe doesn't say how many servings it makes?
- Choose "Multiplier" and pick ½, 1.5, 2 or 3 times.
- What if my cake pan is a different size?
- Choose "Pan size" and enter the original and new pan. Assuming the same depth, amounts scale with the base area (round 18cm → 21cm = 1.36×).
- Can I save the scaled recipe?
- Use "Start saving recipes for free" to keep it in a free account. The scaler itself works without signing in.
