Terms of Service
These terms describe the rules for using Recipe Studio. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Recipe Studio is a web-based workspace for storing and organizing recipes, scaling ingredients, converting units, using Cooking Mode, sharing selected content, and optionally importing recipe information with AI-assisted tools. Some features may be free and others may require a paid plan or credits.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You may use Google sign-in or the other authentication methods offered by Recipe Studio. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of recipes, notes, images, and other content that you submit. You grant Recipe Studio a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, synchronize, and transmit that content only as needed to provide and secure the service.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit content. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and safety of your content. If you create a public or private share link, you are responsible for choosing the audience and for the content made available through that link.
4. AI-assisted features
AI import can help extract recipe information from photos or public URLs, but its output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular dietary or safety need. Review all imported ingredients, quantities, allergens, and instructions before relying on them. Recipe Studio does not provide medical, nutritional, or food-safety advice.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Recipe Studio to:
- Break the law or infringe another person's rights.
- Upload malware, harmful code, or content designed to disrupt the service.
- Attempt to access another user's account or private content.
- Abuse sharing, email, AI, billing, or other service limits.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the service without permission.
- Submit content you are not authorized to process or share.
6. Third-party services
Recipe Studio relies on third-party services, including Convex, Google, Gemini, Resend, Stripe, and YouTube APIs. Their availability and terms may affect related features. When you use a third-party sign-in, payment, email, or AI feature, that provider's terms and policies also apply to its part of the interaction.
7. Paid plans and credits
Prices, billing intervals, plan limits, and any cancellation or refund terms shown at checkout apply to the purchase you make. Payments are processed by Stripe. We may change pricing or plan features prospectively, with the updated terms shown before a new purchase or renewal where required.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Recipe Studio available, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, provider outages, or events outside our control. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We will not be responsible for a failure caused by a provider or event outside our reasonable control.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Recipe Studio at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, create a security or legal risk, or abuse the service. We may retain limited information when necessary for security, legal, billing, dispute, or backup purposes as described in our Privacy Policy .
10. Disclaimers
Recipe Studio is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. You are responsible for checking recipes and conversions before cooking, sharing, purchasing ingredients, or making dietary decisions.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, GP software and Recipe Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-data damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the effective date and publish the revised terms on this page. Continued use of Recipe Studio after an update means you accept the revised terms for future use.
